PAINTINGS & PRINTS
Every piece is made with a purpose

  • "I CHOOSE YOU, PIKACHU!" (Inspired by Pokémon / Satoshi Tajiri) It's OK to be a child on the inside and still love video games, no matter how old you are. Let nobody ever convince you of anything else! What Pokémon has taught me is that if you meet your enemies, it means you're heading in the right direction. Just don't forget: If you fail at beating them, it doesn't mean the GAME IS OVER, it means you can try again with more EXPERIENCE this time!
    • Limit edition prints
    • These are unique prints based on the original painting
    • Printed on 250 gms, Biotop paper
    • Signed and numbered on the front

"I CHOOSE YOU, PICHU!" (Inspired by Pokémon / Satoshi Tajiri) This piece is made in collaboration with the Dutch YouTuber: LinkTijger Link's favorite Pokémon is Pichu and we thought it would be a fun idea to make a personalized piece. As you can see, Pichu is wearing the famous hat of LinkTijger and he's NOT any type of clickbait!

  • This piece is taking place in the near future of Tokyo and is all about how technology and artificial life is taking over in the form of the (social) media. We rather look at flashy and colorful ads, pictures and video’s about the “amazing” lives of other people, than looking at our own lives. STOP worrying about what the person next to you is doing or what they have. Because the more you watch them, the less you watch yourself. All the time you waste dreaming about what you want in life, could have been spent on your way to making it happen. So first things first: No more distractions and time for actions!

  • "Here we GO!" (Inspired by Nintendo / Fusajiro Yamauchi.) Ever heard of Brand dropping? That's what this piece is all about! It's when you're mentioning that you're wearing an expensive brand of clothing, using an expensive piece of technology, or bragging about other items that you own which are of high value. Example: "Dude! Watch it, if you spill that drink on my expensive silver and gold coated Supreme Mario painting I'm gonna lose it!"

  • This piece is about shining light on the dark sight of things. But sometimes we get blinded by that light and we don't see what's right in front of us. We will automatically focus on the dark because we, as people, easily lose sight of all the good we do. It's never too late to change and try to see the bright side of things. Just remember, without the dark we wouldn't be able to see the light either.

  • This piece is all about the mayhem in the world, yet we still find beauty in the most terrible conditions. The irony of it all is that we forget what’s going on around us. We search for beautiful things and love, when all we have to do is look in the mirror and start loving our beautiful selves first. The moment you TRULY start reflecting on yourself (yes, also on the ugly parts) is the moment you give yourself the green light to grow and become the best version of YOU! My point is, don’t be afraid of what you might see now, as it might not be your final stage. Because our struggles in the past can be used as inspiration to do better in the future.
